riceworks® Rice Crisps
Finally a gluten-free, whole-grain snack that is tasty and crunchy. Riceworks® are made from whole-grain brown rice that results in 8 g whole grains per 1-oz serving. Additionally, riceworks brown rice crisps are gluten-free and do not contain artificial flavors or preservatives, cholesterol, or trans fat and are vegan and celiac friendly.

Nutritionally, riceworks contain 33% less fat than potato chips (6 g vs. 9 g per oz), but are similar to most tortilla chips and some baked chips (6 g per oz). The sodium is moderate for a snack (110 mg per oz).

Flavors include Sweet Chili, Sea Salt, Salsa Fresca, Parmesan & Sundried Tomato, and Baked Cinnamon.

Riceworks are available in many supermarkets and club stores. The suggested retail price is $3.29 for a 5-oz bag. Larger sizes may be available.

Pros: Gluten-free, whole-grain snack that is lower in fat than similar snacks. They are also preservative and trans fat free.
Cons: The fat amount is similar to other chips (6 g per oz).
Editor's Note: These chips are crispy, tasty, and sturdy enough for a dip.

Comments: I'd like to see ingredients listed. This is often the HARDEST thing to get a manufacturer to put on a website but the most necessary for a person struggling with allergies or delayed sensitivities along with celiac sprue Could I feature you my website at Nutritionresults.com? I would love to see a full-disclosure ingredient approach. It would help our patients SO much!

The Nutrition Facts and Ingredients with Allergen information are listed. There is a link at the bottom of the review that says 'Nutrition Info.' This is a very clean product that is definitely 'Gluten-Free.' Thanks for your comment. We would love to be featured on your website.
